Just because we're not some big multi-national conglomerate doesn't mean that we can't take a leadership position in how we run our business.

Haus Interactive has chosen to take a proactive stance in aligning itself with people and companies who don't just provide a service, but who make a genuine contribution to society.

Below are just a few examples of how making good decisions can integrate seamlessly into operations.

NATURAL RESOURCES
To reduce paper use, we deliver invoices via email as .pdf files

All of the paper we do use is 100% post-consumer waste.

While computer equipment is probably one of the least recyclable products on the market we are involved in petitioning our technology providers to provide greener products as well as to continually improve their recycling programs.

Haus saves paper by invoicing with electronic .pdf files

CODE
The Web is a rapidly evolving platform filled with new ideas, new technology, and boundless enthusiasm. With each innovation that comes along it is easy to get swept up in the excitement as lose sight of your core mission. As builders of the internet we want to ensure that every site built follows some form of guidelines to make sure nobody is left out because they aren't using the newest or best internet browser or media player.

Haus is proud to support the efforts of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in creating and promoting sane and usable standards . All of our websites render the same in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari—does yours?

SOCIETY
During the hours we're not working hard our workstations are. We donate spare CPU cycles to help Stanford University study protein folding which, when it goes awry, can lead to many well known diseases like Alzheimer's, Huntington's, Parkinson's, cancer and more.
